Overview
As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting products at various stages of the manufacturing process. Your expertise will help us maintain our commitment to delivering top-notch products to our customers. You will work closely with production teams to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.
Document inspection results and maintain accurate records inside the ERP system.
Identify defects and non-conformities, and communicate findings to relevant teams.
Collaborate with production staff, supervisors, and engineers to achieve tasks and improve efficacy.
Participate in quality audits and assist in the development of quality control procedures.
Stay updated on industry standards and best practices to enhance quality processes.
Read blueprints and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product and supplies.
Use automated systems to perform complex testing and measuring procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in quality control is a plus.
- Proven experience in mechanical quality inspection or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and tools.
- Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances and knowledge of data and statistics.
