Position Overview
Inspect products thoroughly to ensure they meet appearance standards, job book requirements, and customer specifications. This includes checking Class surfaces, packaging, and labeling to ensure compliance and exceed customer expectations.
Essential Job Functions
Identify defects using quality tools to measure particle sizes and evaluate against appearance standards and job books.
Apply knowledge of surface class callouts for accurate inspections.
Make accept/reject decisions on audited parts.
Record inspection results accurately on tracer sheets for defect reporting.
Verify labels, packaging, and compliance to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Work independently using all quality tools while meeting shipping deadlines.
Perform additional job duties as assigned.
Requirements
Experience inspecting painted products.
Knowledge of appearance standards and measuring tools.
Must pass the Farnsworth Color Test.

Education/Experience
Language Skills
Ability to read and understand instructions, memos, and correspondence.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Able to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings with customers, clients, and team members.
Mathematical Skills
Proficient in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Ability to calculate rates, ratios, and percentages, and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Apply common sense to follow detailed but straightforward instructions.
Able to handle problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Physical Demands
Regularly required to sit, use hands, and handle materials.
Frequently required to reach with arms, talk, and hear.
Occasionally required to stand, walk, and lift/move up to 25 pounds.
Vision requirements include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Moderate noise level in the work environment.
