Position: Quality Engineering Manager

On-Site Position: Logan, UT


Job Summary: The Quality Engineering Manager oversees all functions of Quality Engineering and Incoming Inspection. They set direction and priorities for staff to ensure on-time delivery of quality products to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction.


Essential Job Functions

  • Oversees all functions of Quality Engineering and Incoming Inspection 
  • Promotes the professional growth of the QE/II staff
  • Identify and minimize production and customer satisfaction risk 
  • Works cross-functionally to identify and promote process control opportunities
  • Identifies and drives quality initiatives based on associated metrics and KPIs
  • Understand and deploy processes to ensure conformance to government regulations, industry standards, and product specifications
  • Collaboration with all other functions
  • Ensure compliance with Corporate and industry quality standards including AS9100 and ISO13485
  • Strategically contributes to the overall growth and success of the organization
  • Supports/resolves supplier quality issues
  • Ensures collaboration with Engineering to develop work practices that yield products compliant with customer and company requirements/standards
  • Serve as a customer advocate when making product conformance decisions

Requirements

  Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical or business field 
  • 7 - 10 years of related work experience
  • Experience with ISO9001 required, AS9100 and ISO 13485 preferred
  • QMS experience

Requirements

  • We are a government contractor.  All applicants must be a United States Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance in the future.
