Job Overview:
DCX-CHOL Enterprises Inc. is a leading source for high performance interconnect products. We design, engineer, and produce cable assemblies, wiring harnesses, conduit assemblies, custom connectors, wire enclosures and much more!
We are privately held American owned Small Business made up of five (5) vertically integrated manufacturing and assembly divisions, each with their own history, specializations and products.
Position Summary:
To support the goals and vision of DCX-CHOL through learning-based experience. DCX-CHOL will provide leadership and instruction to the intern based on the nature of the position. The student must be enrolled in a degree program from a college or university. Typically, this internship would occur after the student has taken most of the coursework required by the degree program.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
- Perform detailed trending analysis of related quality data identifying top issues in pareto format and facilitate problem and/or process improvement activities to include the following:
- QT9, NCP validation,
- Root cause analysis
- Tool crib organization, Preventive maintenance schedule
- Process mapping for key Functions
- Receiving Inspection assistance
- Final Inspection assistance
- KPI generation and gathering
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications – Education
The student must be enrolled in a degree program from a college or university. Typically, this internship would occur after the student has taken most of the coursework required by the degree program.
Qualifications - Experience
• Manufacturing background/interest.• Engineering Degree-completed or in progress
• Navigate Microsoft Office, (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat.
• Knowledge in interpreting engineering drawings is a plus.
• Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance.
