Job Description
You will be the Quality Engineer Supervisor, leading the quality department for the Tactical and Strike Missile (TSM) programs at our Lufkin, TX facility. Our team is responsible for ensuring quality and mission success, and you will play a key role in defining and executing strategic plans.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Quality Engineer Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing direction to quality personnel, acting as a quality liaison with product management and cross-functional teams, and interfacing with customers, including on-site DCMA personnel. You will develop and implement quality systems to support site operations and comply with AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Defining and executing strategic plans for the TSM quality department
-Staffing and providing direction to TSM quality personnel
-Acting as quality liaison with local product management and cross-functional teams
-Developing and implementing quality systems to support site operations
-Interfacing with customers, including on-site DCMA personnel

Basic Qualifications
-Bachelors degree in STEM or related field, and/or equivalent experience/education.
-Strong understanding and working knowledge of ISO9000 / AS9100 Quality Management Systems
-Previous quality experience with product life cycles including development through sales and delivery
-Advanced understanding of Quality principles
-Experience with control and disposition of non-conforming material
-Experience in solving complex problems associated with the quality of products and with regard to quality owned processes (FAI, CCB, CAB, etc.)
-Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
-Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with Technical Operations, Manufacturing, and all other stakeholders
Desired skills
- STEM degree at bachelors level or higher preferred.
-Experience working with Government customers in the Aerospace Industry
- Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification
- Advanced AS9102 Interpretation and application experience
- Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) technical experience

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $81,600 - $143,865. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
