Responsibilities
Contributes to team goals while developing key competencies and supporting product specification, implementation, testing, and release
Leads cross‑functional root‑cause investigations and corrective actions using methods such as 5 Why and 8D
Drives continuous improvement initiatives and updates to the quality management system, including APQP/PPAP for new or modified products
Develops and executes verification and validation plans, analyzes test results, and provides technical recommendations with supporting documentation
Resolves supplier and customer quality issues, manages nonconformances, and maintains strong external relationships
Creates and improves quality systems, SOPs, and documentation; supports audits, certifications, and provides technical assistance to manufacturing, suppliers, and customers
Qualifications
Associate Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Minimum 4 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in manufacturing
Experience with CMM systems (Micro‑Vu with Inspec software preferred)
Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards preferred
SQF Practitioner and HACCP certifications preferred
Skilled in statistical analysis (Minitab a plus), root‑cause investigation, corrective actions, APQP/PPAP, GD&T, and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies a plus
Knowledge of injection molding, assembly processes, and packaging applications (closures) a plus
