Job Overview:
Weiss Technik North America has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Co-Op., who provides support to the Quality Department by performing a variety of operational tasks in the areas of research, development and design of environmental test chambers manufactured in our Cincinnati facility in accordance with applicable procedures and specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspection of products, processes, and systems to ensure stringent quality standards are met.
- Demonstrate a keen eye for detail which will be instrumental in minimizing errors and enhancing the overall quality of offerings.
- Use a systematic approach to resolve quality issues that are vital for maintaining product integrity and customer satisfaction.
- Identifying root causes, analyzing complex situations, and developing solutions.
- Working cross-functionally across departments and communicating quality standards and expectations clearly.
Qualifications
- Must be detailed oriented and understand the importance of accuracy
- Experience in Microsoft Suite
- High School Diploma or GED
Working Conditions
Periodic stationary work with frequent movement throughout the facility to access chambers, files, office machinery, etc. Works at a desk and a computer screen for extended periods of time. Employee must be able to manually enter data to the computer system and understand the screen and images that appear. Frequently lifting and carrying up to 10 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs. Use of hands to hold, lift and handle materials. Occasional climbing, bending and squatting. Periodic travel may be involved. When traveling, significant portions of travel time (both car and air) may involve extended sedentary periods.
