Job Description

As a Quality Engineer Intern, you’ll collaborate with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams to support critical projects. Through hands-on learning and real-world problem-solving, you’ll contribute to Quality initiatives.

Our program is a paid, 12-week program that will run from Monday, May 18th through Friday, August 7th. For internships that outside your current geographic location, we offer a $6,000 Intern Stipend to help cover your temporary housing and travel for the duration of the program.

  • Work alongside seasoned engineers and industry leaders in a supportive, cutting-edge environment.

  • Create solutions that optimize production processes, improve efficiency, and drive continuous improvement in the building industry.

Essential Functions

  • Develop quality procedures and instructions.
  • Support Quality Engineers to perform root cause investigation for customer complaint.
  • Perform product validation New Products Launch – Engineering Changes.
  • Perform quality Studies. Ex: Capability Studies, FAI’s, R&R Studies, etc.
  • Support Quality Engineers with calibration process.
  • Perform dimensional study (Hexagon)and make reports.
  • Collet data and fill out reports for Quality KPI’s.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering; expected to graduation date in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 with potential to convert to full-time employment.
  • Cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices, reading blueprints and statistics
  • Training in the use of Microsoft Office products, AutoCAD and Solidworks
  • Ownership of one or more high priority projects that will assess your problem solving and leadership skills.
