Job Overview:

If you are a seasoned quality engineering professional looking to make an impact in a rewarding industry, join our team! As a Quality Engineer III, you'll ensure all quality standards are met. You’ll be responsible for leading continuous improvement projects in the Quality and Sustainment organization. In this role, you will spearhead initiatives that span across the entire business, collaborating with various product lines and functions to enhance quality, efficiency, and sustainability.

As SNC's corporate team, we provide the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, marketing, and communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Development of an E2E quality philosophy and function with an emphasis on QA and QC

  • Evaluate our current functional quality processes and recommend revisions as required

  • Teaming and supporting the business areas in the development of functional quality processes and procedures.

  • Defining a Mission Assurance function along with reliability and predictability matrix and functions

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience

•Higher education may substitute for relevant experience

•Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education

  • Considerable knowledge of Quality System requirements and contract quality requirements

  • Experience in manufacturing and inspection

  • Proficient ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics, parts lists, specifications, instructions, and test procedures

  • Advanced knowledge of ISO9001, AS9001 standards

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience in the aerospace and defense industry

  • Experience in Misson Assurance, Advanced Quality planning, or Quality Control/Quality Assurance.

  • Certified Quality Improvement Associate, Certified Quality Inspector, Certified Quality Engineer, or Certified Six Sigma Black Belt

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $94,345.12 - $129,724.54. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants.
