**JOB DESCRIPTION **

**Position Summary: **

Designs and executes control plans, audits to ensure that control plans are being followed, and ensures containment and corrective action in the event of non-conformance. Works with Cross functional teams to update the QMS.

Major Responsibilities:

  • FAI’s/PPAP’s
  • Leads Multi-functional teams to help improve the Quality System
  • Gage Improvements
  • Inspection Improvements
  • Quality Audits
  • Leading MSA’s (GR&R’s and machine capability studies)
  • Leads Quality Improvements and Corrective Actions
  • Works with Suppliers and Customers
  • Training quality personal, Machinists on gages & Inspection methods
  • Programming Gages

**Required Education / Experience / Skills: **

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field, Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial or Materials.

  • 0-2 years of engineering experience (Intern and/or co-op) in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills with all levels of employees and management.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while adjusting to changing priorities and project lists.

  • Team orientated with the ability to influence others without authority.

  • Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma within 3 years
