**Quality Engineer ** (Contract position) - Bluffton, OH

Day Shift position (7:00am-3:00pm OR 8:00am-4:00pm)

Pay Rate: $30.00-$40.00 per hour (based & determined on proven work history)

Our customer is a Tier 1 supplier legacy for manufacturing propulsion-agnostic, structural automotive components, and assemblies around the globe.

The Quality Engineer will help drive excellence by:

• Focusing on PPAP document packages

• Construction of Control Plans, PFMEAs, Process Flows, gage MSAs, Inspection Instruction Worksheets (forms that are used on the production floor by inspectors and operators to guide them on how and what inspections to complete)

• Setting up folders- PSWes (problem solving with every step)

  • Assembling the entire PDF document with ADOBE document merger

• Any other sidebar projects

The role is part of our Quality Team and reports to the Quality Manager.

Required experience of the Quality Engineer:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum six (6) years in quality engineering required
• Metal stamping and assembly background
• Knowledge of standard quality practices
• Excellent organizational, analytical, team building, verbal and written communication skills
