Quality Engineer - CNC Machining Aerospace

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure compliance with AS9100 standards.
- Utilize GD&T principles to review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Conduct root cause analysis using the 5 Why methodology to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Analyze quality control data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Oversee the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Operate and maintain Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) for precise measurements and inspections.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and present quality reports to management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in quality engineering within the aerospace industry.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and its application in manufacturing.
- Experience with root cause analysis techniques, particularly the 5 Why method.
- Familiarity with the PPAP process and its requirements.
- Hands-on experience with AS9100 quality management systems.
- Proficient in using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) for quality inspections.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
