SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible for driving the execution of quality goals and objectives. You will proactively drive actions to meet internal and external customer expectations for quality.

Manage all aspects of the plant quality to include audits, inspections, quality engineering, first article reporting, non-conforming product management, supplier quality
Evaluate and enhance quality standards, technologies and approaches
Act as a strong advocate for quality in the New Product Development Process
Represent the company externally in conversations with key customers and partners
Synthesize quality performance data for presentation to executive leadership
Drive improvement to the department key performance metrics (COPQ, QPPM, Supplier Quality QPPM, DMR/RMA rate)

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (BS) from four-year College or university in an Engineering or Quality discipline; or 5 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5-7 years of demonstrated success leading and managing Quality or manufacturing organizations in the machining, semiconductor equipment, automotive or medical device sector
Ability to synthesize and distill technical analyses into meaningful activities to drive continuous improvement
Ability to write process descriptions, assembly, and manufacturing instructions
Read and interpret manufacturing drawings “Blueprints”
Advanced Knowledge of ASME Y14.5GD&T Techniques
