A growing manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their on-site team in White House, TN. This individual will play a key role in ensuring that products meet customer and internal quality standards, while driving continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. The position involves hands-on quality assurance, problem-solving, and process improvement, as well as leadership in corrective action and customer communication activities.

Lead all aspects of customer satisfaction, including monitoring customer portals, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance with specific customer quality requirements.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all quality-related customer concerns, coordinating internal responses and ensuring timely and accurate corrective actions.
Support new product launches, ensuring all quality documentation, submissions, and supplier quality requirements are completed accurately and on schedule.
Prepare and maintain control plans and inspection plans for new and existing products; revise as necessary based on quality performance data.
Collaborate with suppliers to communicate quality expectations and support improvement initiatives when supplier performance impacts product quality.
Provide floor-level support for problem-solving, root cause analysis, and data-driven corrective actions.
Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects utilizing Lean, Kaizen, and other quality methodologies.
Deliver quality-related training to production and support teams (SPC, QC tools, Kaizen, etc.).
Conduct internal audits and participate in maintaining conformance with ISO standards and internal quality management systems.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (medical industry experience preferred).
Proven knowledge of quality assurance principles, manufacturing processes, and data-driven problem solving.
Familiarity with Lean manufacturing, project management, and ISO 14001 or related quality system standards.
Strong analytical and technical skills; ability to interpret data and drive process improvements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and in cross-functional teams.
Experience with PLEX or similar ERP/QMS systems preferred.
Proactive and detail-oriented, with strong ownership of quality outcomes.
Comfortable interacting with customers, suppliers, and all levels of internal staff.
