SUMMARY

Develop and implement quality systems with an emphasis on product returns, complaint management, and overall root cause and corrective action measures to drive the CAPA, optimize new product development within a manufacturing environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Analyze system data to determine major contributors to poor performing processes
Part of cross functional team in developing and improving Quality activities
Acts as a subject matter expert for data acquisition and other Quality software
Performs other assigned duties as deemed necessary by their manager
Analyze production and supplier nonconformance data to determine cause
Analyze customer returns to determine underlying root causes in a timely manner
Improve QMS procedures/documents that align with ISO Standards
Root cause analysis of CAPA process using DMAIC methodology and 8D/5 Why tools
Under supervision to create PFMEA and Capability Studies for customer deliverables and to improve manufacturing processes
Review and verify Engineering/Customer prints

Requirements

REQUIRED

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience
Minimum 5 years of Quality Engineering experience
Experience with measuring tools and Equipment
Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task
Basic knowledge of quality systems – statistics, and sampling
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal

DESIRED

Master’s degree preferred or Equivalent work experience
Manufacturing environment experience a plus
GD&T/Engineering prints a plus
Knowledge of ISO Quality Management Systems standards a plus
