Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer/Leader for a great company in Shreveport, LA.

Salary: $95,000

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Ensures the quality and reliability of the product through the implementation of a control and quality system in accordance with the requirements of the client and applicable regulations, to achieve profitability and sustainable development of the business.
  • Audit processes, product, and quality systems in different areas of the company according to the annual audit plan for compliance with the ISO 9000 system Coordinate the application and use of the Special Quality Plans throughout each of the inspection processes of the production line
  • Define the monitoring and control mechanisms necessary to measure the behavior of the internal defective, surveillance of critics, and adherence to procedure
  • Evaluate the proposals and changes in the quality control and assurance system oriented to new quality methodologies and advanced inspection technologies
  • Supervise the implementation, validation, and effectiveness of the corrective actions resulting from the analysis of the cause of the complaint, failures, and or internal deviations

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality operations in a manufacturing environment
  • Desired Characteristics
  • Knowledge of internal audit guidelines, ISO 9000 standards, and Quality management systems
  • Statistical processes control, lean manufacturing, and quality principles.

You should be proficient in:

  • Quality Inspection Experience
  • Quality Control Data Analysis
  • AS9100 Experience
  • Data Analysis and Manipulation
  • Continuous Improvement
