About the Role

Essity Manufacturing Professional Hygiene North America is currently seeking a Quality Engineer. This role would be based in our manufacturing facility in Neenah, WI.

What You Will Do

  • Leads overall site master plan to reduce manufacturing facility waste by managing product holds and trends, improving quality check procedures, supporting Resources Support Teams in quality improvements, and more as necessary;
  • Interfaces with vendors and customers both internal and external to resolve quality issues by driving permanent and effective corrective/preventative actions;
  • Sets up and maintains quality metrics and identifies areas for measurement and implement systems to gather data as needed;
  • Develops and maintains system to assure that the quality of our paper and/or finished goods is consistent with customer requirements;
  • Owns the facility Plain Manufacturing System including the development and execution of the Plain System improvement plan;
  • Manages customer and consumer complaints;
  • Leads in implementing the Quality / Food Safety System policies and procedures to meet or exceed our customers product quality, service sustainability and food safety expectations, including certification requirements such as ISO, SQF, GFSI and others as applicable.

Who You Are

  • Successful candidates will possess a Bachelors of Science degree in quality systems, Industrial Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience;
  • Proficient in Hazard AnalyConsis and trol Points (HACCP) and current in Safe Quality Food (SQF) Code training preferred;
  • Minimum 2 years in quality control or manufacturing services related position;
  • Significant customer service skills related to quality issues;
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills;
  • Working knowledge of quality assurance programs;
  • Good Communications skills;
  • Good problem solving skills;
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
