As a Quality Engineer, you'll apply hands‑on problem‑solving, data‑driven analysis, and core quality methodologies to strengthen our processes, reduce defects, and support reliable production performance. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working close to the operations, partnering with cross‑functional teams, and shaping the systems and standards that keep our products and customers protected.
You'll work on-site at our facility in Ladysmith, WI and report to the Team Lead of Quality & Continuous Improvement.
Drive efforts to improve internal defects per unit (DPU), Rolled Throughput Yield Loss (RTYL), external Parts Per Million (PPM), reduce scrap, and improve quality in the manufacturing operation.
Develop and evaluate processes using capability studies, process control plans, analysis of out-of-control conditions, and process audits to improve performance and capability.
Lead Kaizen events and other productivity and cost reduction initiatives to achieve plant targets.
Use standard problem-solving techniques and tools to identify root cause and develop corrective actions. Utilize A3 methodology to determine root cause and develop / implement steps that resolve problems.
Work with manufacturing labor standards, production routings, manufacturing work instructions, and SAP system needs to maintain production. Utilizes factory automation software to monitor and maintain production.
Provide design input and execution support for the development and deployment of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and information management systems in the plant.
Participate in Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA).
Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field.

Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
Bachelor's degree in engineering field of study.
1+ years of Quality Engineering experience.
Advanced data analysis including knowledge of advanced Excel and Power BI capabilities.
ISO documentation systems knowledge and experience.
Familiarity with SAP.
