Responsibilities
- Conduct quality inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with ISO 22000 standards.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Utilize the 5 Why method for effective root cause analysis and problem resolution.
- Manage and execute the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) to ensure product readiness.
- Utilize ERP software to track quality metrics and maintain accurate documentation.
- Operate and maintain Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) for precise measurements and inspections.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality inspection and control within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and practices.
- Familiarity with ISO 22000 standards and their application in quality management.
- Experience with the PPAP process and its documentation requirements.
- Proficiency in using ERP software for quality management and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and measurement techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on root cause analysis.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
