Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
· Advise on provisions to minimize quality issues
· Develop and implement required quality documents
· Perform regular process audits
· Drive root cause and corrective actions – Must own and lead the quality process
· Work with Engineering and Production to address any internal quality concerns and corrective actions
· Prioritize quality improvement activities
· Utilize quality improvement training, activities, and policies
· Manage all documentation and reporting requirements for the quality system
· Develop performance improvement targets for quality
· Conduct customer surveys to solicit feedback
· Perform statistical analysis and data analysis
· Perform gage calibration, product testing, and maintain records.
· Participate in quality audits
· Demonstrates hands on mechanical capabilities, problem solving, leadership, conflict management, and team building skills in productive team environment
· Develop reports of product conformance

EDUCATION:
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering technology or a related field and 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing quality, preferably in high-volume metal fabrication (e.g. forming, cutting, and welding). Automotive or transportation sector experience a plus.
