Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Quality Engineer located in Coopersville Michigan

Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Engineer In this role, you will be maintaining quality engineering programs, standards, and improvements within the organization.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Develops and implements quality inspection and testing standards.
  • Designs sampling procedures and quality data forms.
  • Manages discrepant materials and assesses costs.
  • Customer specific requirements knowledge for Ford and GM
  • Holds up Product Engineers and Quality Program Managers with customer interfaces as necessary on quality related issues
  • Directs testing teams and compiles quality data.
  • In charge of developing, applying, revising and maintaining quality standards for processing materials into partially finished or finished products
  • Creates training materials and conducts training.
  • Collaborates on quality issues with engineers and managers.
  • Ensures quality data integrity and consolidates reports.
  • Initiates corrective actions and assists in audits.
  • Maintains production quality standards and evaluates equipment.
  • Analyzes returned products for corrective actions.
  • Approves product and process qualifications; liaises with regulators.

Here is some of what you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 6 years of experience in engineering in the high technology electronics industry or related field.
  • PCBA Experience
  • Experience in Automotive field
  • Familiarity with ISO9100 and IATF16949
  • Knowledge of advanced mathematical concepts.
