We are seeking a motivated Quality Engineer I to join our growing semiconductor manufacturing team. In this role you will be responsible for supporting quality assurance initiatives across manufacturing and product development processes. The Quality Engineer I will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality standards are met and maintained, while also contributing to continuous improvement efforts. This is an excellent opportunity for an early career engineer to gain hands on experience in a fast paced, high-tech environment.
Location: Allen, Texas. This is an on-site position, and we are not open to remote candidates at this time. There is no relocation assistance available for this role.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support compliance with in-house and external standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
- Analyze processes and systems for suitability, effectiveness, and compliance with requirements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Engineering, Manufacturing & Supply Chain) to resolve quality issues, ensure systems, processes, and products meet customer requirements.
- Support continual improvement activities based on process and system assessments.
- Participate in prevention and problem-solving methodologies to improve process and product quality.
- Apply Statistical Process Control and other statistical methods to data analysis for continual improvement.
- Assist in Developing, applying, revising and maintaining quality standards for production, inspection, delivery, and service.
- Support engineering in design and implementation of methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating product and equipment accuracy.
- Perform or confirm production and quality system audits.
- Analyze data, quality metrics and performance trends including returned products, and customer complaints to identify root causes and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and inspection processes.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for product or process non-conformities.
- Support product testing and validation to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Maintain and update quality documentation, including work instructions, inspection plans, and audit records.
- Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with ISO or other applicable regulations.
- Help manage nonconforming material reports (NMRs) and disposition of defective products.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Ability to exercise judgment in selecting methods and recommending solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Skills:
- Basic understanding of quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 45001 or ISO 14001)
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing principles, continuous improvement methodologies or Six Sigma
- Familiarity with tools FMEA, 5 Whys, Control Plans and Root Cause Analysis
Experience:
- 0-2 years experience in quality or manufacturing engineering role
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality or Engineering, related technical field or equivalent work experience.
Travel:
Less than 10% travel to suppliers or manufacturing facilities
