Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control (Welding) professional to join our team in Louisville, KY. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our welding processes meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
-Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
-We are looking for a former welder who would like to get off of the floor, or someone that has had experience doing QC in a fabrication shop environment.
-Familiarity with Flux Core is a plus.

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of welded components to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Utilize various testing methods
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality control activities.
- Collaborate with the welding team to identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
- Provide feedback and recommendations for process improvements to enhance product quality.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on industry standards and best practices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in welding inspection are a plus.
- Proven experience in quality control within a welding environment.
- Strong understanding of welding processes, materials, and industry standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with quality control tools and techniques.
