In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our welding processes meet the highest standards of quality and safety. -Must be able to read heavy structural welding blueprints

-Must be able to interpret Weld Symbols

-Familiarity with Flux-Core is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of welded products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Utilize various testing methods, including visual inspections and non-destructive testing techniques.
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality control activities.
  • Collaborate with the welding team to identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations for process improvements to enhance product quality.
  • Assist in training team members on quality control procedures and best practices.
  • Stay updated on industry standards and regulations related to welding quality control.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in welding or quality control preferred.
  • Proven experience in quality control within a welding environment.
  • Strong understanding of welding processes, techniques, and standards.
  • Familiarity with inspection tools and non-destructive testing methods.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
