Full Time
General shift: Monday-Friday, 07:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. but the candidate must be flexible as hours and weekends can tend to fluctuate based on production needs.
Starting pay will be $21.00 per hour with raises expected within first year of service for successful completion of INDOT Aggregate Technician Course. Higher pay may be available for candidate with experience in the mining industry or for candidates that are already INDOT certified.
Rogers Group, Inc. is currently seeking an individual for the QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN / GENERAL UTILITY position in Williamsport, IN. Interstate Sand and Gravel is an open-pit mine where naturally occurring deposits of sand and gravel are extracted for use in construction and other industries.
The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and written communication skills and will be responsible for a wide variety of quality control efforts including but not limited to testing materials produced to assure compliance with internal and external specifications, providing technical services and support to internal and external customers, attention to detail, and maintaining control charts and other required records. This role is a dual role. When samples are not being ran, the chosen candidate will be expected to help with plant maintenance, run equipment, or any other duties assigned by management. The potential candidates for the role must be enthusiastic and have an uncompromising emphasis on safety.
