Position: Quality Control Technician – 2nd shift RQH
Department: Quality Control PM
Hours: 3:00 p.m. – shift end (hours may vary)
Entry Rate of Pay: $20.00/hour + $1.00/hour shift premium.

Key Responsibilities:
- Including, but not limited to:
- Monitor and verify correct packaging area parameters are met (i.e. code dates, packaging, labels, etc.)
- All duties include detailed and accurate information tracking and documentation per standardized procedures
- Net weight monitoring
- Monitoring kitchen activities
- Operational sanitation audits
- Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP) monitoring in areas of responsibility
- Sample collection as appropriate
- Communication of issues from shift to shift, department to department
- Equipment calibration/verification
Required Qualifications/ Education/ Skills
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience; or experience as a Quality Control/ Assurance position in the food industry.

Job Environment
- Manufacturing environment working in coolers and freezer occasionally with most work in normal temperature area.
- Work with refrigerated, frozen and hot products.
- Wet environment (full wash down production area).
