JOB SUMMARY
The Quality Control (QC) Technician ensures that products meet company and industry quality standards through testing, inspection, and documentation. They are responsible for maintaining product quality by conducting visual and physical inspections, maintaining testing equipment, and identifying and reporting non-conformances. The QC Technician supports continuous improvement initiatives and ensures compliance with safety and quality policies. This role is vital to ensuring that production output meets or exceeds customer expectations.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, part numbers, and specifications.
• Strong understanding of quality control principles and inspection methods.
• Skilled in using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
• Familiarity with statistical quality control and sampling methods.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and judgment skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Must be legally entitled to work in the US.
• High School diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment.
• Experience with testing equipment and procedures required.
• Quality certification (e.g., CQI, Six Sigma, or equivalent) is a plus.

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
