Job Description

We are hiring a Quality Control (QC) Technician to inspect and test cryogenic tank trailers used for transporting liquefied gases. This role is responsible for ensuring trailers meet safety, quality, and DOT compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect welds, components, and trailer assemblies
• Perform vacuum testing of the annular space to minimize heat transfer and prevent product loss
• Perform pressure tests by pressurizing the vessels and using acoustic emission testing
• Verify DOT compliance, including MC-338 standards and other designations for cryogenic transport
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Document inspection results and repairs to create quality records for all trailers
• Communicate with production and engineering teams
• Report to the Plant Supervisor

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Manufacturing or QC experience preferred
• Experience with pressure vessels or cryogenic equipment is a plus
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Experience using hand tools and testing equipment
• Welding or quality certifications are a plus
