Responsibilities 

The Quality Control Technician performs assessments, audits, documentation & organizational tasks to support and develop the efficiency & effectiveness of Unirac’s manufacturing process and supply chain. Quality Control Inspector will: 

  • Inspect inbound and outbound materials for quality, dimensional attributes & quantity 

  • Release material within the ERP system from Quality to Inventory 

  • Inspection of in-process materials fabricated, assembled and packed at Unirac  

  • Identify nonconforming material and help remove from production floor 

  • Provide fulfillment verification (Shadow) pick & packed orders and documentation in the Shipping Department. 

  • Validate pallet count and Packing Lists for dedicated vans and flatbeds  

  • Support Operations Departments as required 

  • Aid in researching customer complaints 

  • Provides data for KPIs and other metrics 

Skills 

  • Detail orientated 

  • Good communication skills 

  • Flexibility and willingness to learn 

  • Work as a team as well as independently 

  • Operation of basic hand tools such as, but not limited to calipers, tape measure & micrometers 

  • Ability to follow processes and prioritize 

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices and 6S 

  • Experience in related industry for Quality  

  • Knowledge of Unirac products is a plus 

 

Requirements 

  • HS or GED Diploma 

  • Basic math knowledge 

  • Basic computer skills: Microsoft Office 

  • Basic understanding of ERP systems 

  • Forklift training/ certified is a plus
