Hino Motors Manufacturing is an OEM that assembles trucks in West Virginia, automotive components in Arkansas, and operates a parts distribution center in California.
We are currently seeking a Quality Control Supervisor located in Mineral Wells, West Virginia reporting directly to the Quality Control Assistant Manager. This individual will be responsible for Supervising team members of the Quality Department and building teamwork to drive part quality, continuous improvement of processes, customer satisfaction and warranty reduction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and Lead Quality Team Members
- Support new model launches and process improvement change points to ensure quality of the product
- Project Management
- Support process setup and layout
- Attend virtual meetings as required
- Achieve all indicators of success and performance measures for area of responsibility
- Demonstrate leadership and commitment to quality
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Position requires plant presence
- Perform all other duties assigned
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of related experience is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Preferably in a supervisory role
- Experience with Quality evaluation methods
- Experience with Leading and Motivating a workforce
- Experience with Training and Human Development activities
- Experience with Change Point Planning is preferred
- Experience with project management preferred
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of quality evaluation methods
- Problem Solving Skills
- Ability to read prints
- Strong MS Outlook, Excel and computer proficiency required
- Must be able to work in a dynamic environment and under the pressure of deadlines
- Ability to work in or lead teams throughout decision making process
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be willing and able to perform a variety of tasks in support of the short- and long-term goals
- Deal effectively with complex and sensitive issues
- Ability to think in the abstract and see how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes

- Strong organizational and data management skills
