Job Overview:
We are searching for a Quality Control (QC) Technician/Contractor Quality Control Systems Manager (CQCSM) to support APTIM's nuclear decontamination and decommissioning (D&D) project at Ft. Greely, Alaska. This position is on-site at Ft. Greely, AK and is responsible for day-to-day compliance with USACE regulations and approved procedures, including record filing and archiving, and the provision of operational support to the project and on-site personnel. Long-term project assignment and travel are required.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Responsible for the overall management of contractor quality control (CQC) and has the authority to act in all CQC matters for the project.
- Will provide and maintain an effective quality control system for all project activities, including monitoring of quality control activities to ensure conformance with authorized policies, procedures, contract specifications, and USACE practices.
- Prepares the daily quality control reports and quality control checklists and provide support for USACE quality assurance activities, including monitoring of quality control activities to ensure conformance with authorized policies, procedures, contract specifications, and USACE practices.
- May also be assigned the responsibility of performing final reviews of survey data to demonstrate that material meets the requirements for disposal or recycling.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant degree plan (Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management)
- Minimum of 10 years related experience on construction similar to this contract (large, complex projects).
- Experience working on nuclear projects involving radioactive waste, environmental remediation, and disposal preferred.
- Experience working on USACE or NAVFAC projects preferred.
- Must have a current Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM/CQMC) certification or the ability to obtain one.
