Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead quality operations within an automotive manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overseeing the Quality Control department, ensuring product quality standards are met, managing customer and supplier quality concerns, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has strong experience in automotive manufacturing quality systems, team leadership, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Quality Control department, ensuring efficient operations and achievement of departmental goals

• Establish and communicate quality objectives, performance standards, and operational expectations

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance and quality management systems

• Monitor and analyze product quality performance, internal metrics, and customer feedback

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality systems and manufacturing processes

• Ensure compliance with industry certifications and quality standards such as ISO and other regulatory requirements

• Investigate and resolve customer complaints and quality issues, ensuring timely corrective actions

• Monitor supplier quality performance and collaborate with suppliers to improve quality ratings and product consistency

• Work closely with senior leadership to reduce customer complaints and improve product quality

• Manage departmental resources and budgets to support operational goals

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience)

• Minimum 8 years of quality control experience in an automotive manufacturing environment

• At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience

• Strong knowledge of quality control methods, systems, and continuous improvement processes

• Familiarity with quality standards and certifications (ISO, ASQC, etc.)

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
