The Quality Control Manager is responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements throughout the production process. This role involves developing and implementing quality control policies, creating a team of quality inspectors, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Salary range is $75,000 - $95,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Management:

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and procedures.
• Set quality standards and benchmarks for products and processes.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, FDA, EDR, or EPR).
• Maintain accurate documentation and records related to quality control activities.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies as needed.

Team Leadership:

• Supervise and train quality control personnel.
• Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team.
• Provide guidance and support for team development and performance improvement.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Analyze quality data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare and present quality reports to management and stakeholders.
• Use statistical methods and tools to monitor quality performance.

Process Improvement:

• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives.
• Implement continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).

Customer Focus:

• Address customer quality concerns and feedback effectively.
• Work with sales and customer service teams to understand and meet customer expectations.
• Promote a customer-oriented mindset within the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality control or quality assurance, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proven leadership and team management abilities.
• Proficient in quality inspection tools and software.

Work Environment

• Primarily office and manufacturing environment, with exposure to production areas.
• May require occasional travel for audits or training sessions.
