This team member will be a Quality Lab Technician in the Electrification Division 101 PA Lab (Product Analysis) - 1st shift
Job Description:
Failure Analysis of EHV Inverter including In-Process Failures, Customer and Warranty Returns, sorting and communication with other departments
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 year technical degree or equivalent related electronics experience.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Ability to read prints, schematics, and interpret customer specifications.
Proficient with measurement hand tools (calipers/ micrometers / dial gauge, multimeter).
Good math skills (ratio/percentage/ scientific notation).
Excellent communication (written & verbal).
Basic automotive component knowledge.
Must be able to operate and understand digital multimeters,
Troubleshooting of electrical / mechanical, & pneumatic.
Basic electrical component knowledge (Capacitor, resistor, etc...)
Ability to read circuit diagram and troubleshoot printed circuit boards.
Complete investigations by using CT scanner, Off-Line performance bench, SEM and microscopes
Some travel may be required for training
Ability to write present technical analysis to upper management.
Must be able to come in for emergency testing as needed.
