We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector for our steel fabrication facility located in Villa Park, IL. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of steel fabrication products to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards.
• Utilize measuring tools and equipment to assess dimensions, tolerances, and overall quality of fabricated components.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality control activities.
• Complete First Article of Inspection
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Perform routine audits of production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Assist in training team members on quality control procedures and best practices.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in quality control methodologies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in quality control, preferably in steel fabrication or manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of quality standards, inspection techniques, and measurement tools./ Calipers etc.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing setting.
