Job type: Direct Hire/Full-Time

Responsibilities:

• Perform visual and dimensional quality inspections, such as first piece inspections, in process inspections, and final inspections, in accordance to the Quality Management System.
• Perform inspections of customer returned materials, and determines rework needed.
• Assists with the RMA process.
• Completes First Article Inspections and completes customer required FAI reports.
• Performs mechanical inspection of sheet metal fabricated parts to ensure conformance to quality standards and to identify non-conformance where it occurs.
• Performs all work according to engineering drawings, written work procedures, and verbal and written instructions.
• Uses calipers, micrometer, scales, and combination-square and other measuring equipment to inspect sheet metal fabricated parts.
• Records data and findings from inspections in inspection reports and related documentation with a high degree of accuracy, completeness, and attention to detail.
• Alert appropriate personnel whenever a nonconformance is suspected.
• Troubleshoot minor nonconformances independently, as well as make routine decisions and use problem solving to resolve basic nonconforming parts.
• Processes all required paperwork and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Safety standards.
• Review documentation as needed to ensure quality of parts, materials and or services received from outside vendors.
• Ensure accuracy and organize documentation of the inspections performed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experienced in quality inspection of metal fabricated parts.

· Knowledge of raw materials used (material grade, thickness, etc.), hardware, tooling, production processes and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of products and quality of parts.

• Able to read and interpret all engineering drawings and blueprints, and has a demonstrated proficiency in all inspection phases.
• Understanding of ISO 9000 Quality Management System.

Hours are:

Monday through Friday – 7am to 3:30pm

The pay is up to $32.00 an hour based on experience
