Quality Control Inspector

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector with a minimum of 3 years of industrial manufacturing experience to join our team in Rochester, NY. Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.
Utilize measurement tools and equipment to assess product specifications and quality standards.
Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality control activities.
Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
Perform routine audits of production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and guidelines.
Provide feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in quality control is a plus.
Proven experience in quality control or inspection, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Familiarity with quality control tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO standards).
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in using measurement instruments and software for data analysis.
