Quality Control Inspector

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector with a minimum of 3 years of industrial manufacturing experience to join our team in Rochester, NY. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Utilize measurement tools and equipment to assess product specifications and quality standards.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality control activities.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
• Perform routine audits of production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and guidelines.
• Provide feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in quality control is a plus.
• Proven experience in quality control or inspection, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with quality control tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO standards).
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in using measurement instruments and software for data analysis.
