Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality control activities.
- Identify and report defects or non-conformities, and work with production teams to implement corrective actions.
- Perform routine audits of production processes to ensure adherence to quality protocols.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop and improve quality control procedures.
- Assist in training new team members on quality control practices and standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in quality assurance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in quality assurance or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Quality Control Inspector or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of quality control standards and methodologies.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and specifications.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in using measurement tools and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
