Job Overview:

We are Hydro, Inc., a global industrial pump reengineering company located in in Chicago. We have a career opportunity for a qualified Welder to work in a controlled work environment. You will be part of an industry-leading team known for delivering high quality work to our customers. You will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of welding equipment, including an electric-welding apparatus to perform complex welding of all types of parts, assemblies or other items and working to exacting tolerances.

Job Description:

~Responsible for dimensionally inspecting parts using micrometers, gauges, calipers, CM (romer arm)

~Calibration of measuring and test utilized for performing inspection and test activities.

~Developing detailed reports for incoming, in process and final inspection.

Competency:

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

~Excellent written, verbal and reading skills.

~Previous machine shop experience

~Exhibit good computer skills and familiarity with MS Office Suite.

Requirements and Qualifications

~Must have 3-5+ years of previous experience in inspection and familiarity with measuring tools.

~NDT Level 2 class completion.

~Certification in Magnetic Particle, Liquid Penetrant and Ultrasonic testing desire.

~High School Diploma and a valid drivers license.
