Quality Control Glass Inspector (Part-Time | Evaluation-to-Hire)

Location: Lafayette Manufacturing Facility

Job Type: Evaluation-to-Hire

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 4 hours per day | 20 hours per week

Pay: $20/hour (increases upon full-time conversion)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Glass Inspector to support an onsite vendor inside the Subaru facility. This role focuses on visual inspection and quality verification of glass components to ensure they meet established quality standards.

This is a part-time, evaluation-to-hire opportunity with strong potential to convert to full-time for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform visual inspections of glass components for defects or damage

• Document and report quality issues accurately

• Communicate findings clearly with onsite team members

• Follow all safety and quality procedures required by the facility

• Use a laptop to complete inspection documentation and reporting

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail, previous quality experience preferred

• Comfortable standing and walking during shifts

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Basic computer skills; must have own laptop

• Reliable attendance and consistent availability Monday–Friday

Physical Requirements:

• Non-physical role aside from being on your feet
