Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of fabricated components to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Identify and document any defects or non-conformities, and collaborate with the fabrication team to implement corrective actions.
- Perform tests and measurements using various tools and equipment to verify product quality.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and best practices.
- Participate in training sessions to educate team members on quality standards and inspection techniques.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in quality control or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in quality control or inspection within a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies and tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficient in using measurement and inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting purposes.
