Join our dynamic team in Louisville, KY, as a Fabrication Quality Control Specialist! In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our fabrication processes meet the highest standards of quality and precision.

Familirarity with different types of welding processes, symbols, and blueprints is required. . We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, passionate about quality assurance, and eager to contribute to a collaborative work environment. Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of fabricated components to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  • Identify and document any defects or non-conformities, and collaborate with the fabrication team to implement corrective actions.
  • Perform tests and measurements using various tools and equipment to verify product quality.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and best practices.
  • Participate in training sessions to educate team members on quality standards and inspection techniques.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in quality control or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in quality control or inspection within a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficient in using measurement and inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting purposes.

  • Quality Control Experience
  • Tape Measure Reading
  • Quality Control Data Analysis
  • Blueprint Reading
