Overview of responsibilities:
• Incoming material quality control and releasing incoming parts in ERP.
• Verification of supplier reports.
• New product sample inspection.
• 5 S and Kaizen improvement PPAP, CP, PFMEA document verification
Knowledge & Experience:
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing industry
• Diploma candidates with mechanical background preferred
• Preparation of “Quality Inspection Plans” for incoming material and keeping records up to date.
• Inspection of incoming materials as per quality plan and clearing the material in ERP. • Inspection of new Molds as per drawing.
• Recording daily/weekly monthly rejections at Inward and reporting to Quality Manager.
• Highlighting the defects found in the incoming stage and communicating to the supplier and respective team through a Quality concern report.
• Verify the Supplier test certificate & tracking of issues with details till CAPA closure. Prepare supplier scorecard
• Participate in analysis to find the root cause and to take necessary actions.
• Support in implementing a “Direct On-Line” system.
• Coordination with employees for continuous improvement (KAIZEN) in Safety, Quality, Productivity, and 5S areas.
• Involve in supplier process audit and identify the improvement areas.
• Maintain all quality documents and records related to incoming material.
• Participate in resolving internal incoming parts quality-related issues and adhering to deadlines.
• Recommend improvement measures to the Supplier production process to ensure quality control standards are met
• Reviewing of PPAP, CP and FMEA documents shared by the supplier.
Required Skills:
• Strong communication & problem-solving capabilities
• Quality inspection & Measuring experience or relevant role
• A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
• Knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies
• PPAP, CP, FMEA documentation
• Conversant in using office 365 and documentation
