Description
Responsible for managing the issue resolution and problem-solving concerns database to ensure correct assignment and reporting. Responsible for documentation of the Workhorse Operating System (WOS) / (QMS), creating and documenting standards, writing procedures and processes to support the WOS and QMS development based on requirements developed by the Vice President, Quality and Aftersales.
Job Requirements:
- Participate in the development and implementation of the Workhorse Operating System (WOS) and Quality Management System (QMS) throughout the company, including any business accreditations
- Maintain the quality manuals, policy, level 1 procedures and ensure contents are appropriate for business
- Analyze current and future procedural needs of the business
- Conduct quality systems audits and assist in training / guidance to other auditors and host external quality system audits where appropriate
- Provide training on quality issues and business processes
- Coordinate the review of quality procedures associated with continuous improvement initiatives
- Report on leading and lagging Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to adhere to process and prevent occurrence of any non-conformity relating to product, process, or system
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities
- Support and lead process improvement activities
- Write reports and present progress at project meetings and to clients
- Undertaking continuous training and development to support individual growth and business objectives
- Manage / maintain the issue resolution database and assignment of concerns (PRTs – Problem Resolution Tracking) to ensure effective assignment, reporting and closure of concerns
- Additional reporting of key KPIs and assignments related to quality systems and problem solving as required
Requirements
- Four-year college degree: Business, engineering, mathematics, statistics, engineering analysis, computer science and/or data science preferred or equivalent experience.
- At least 10 years working in an automotive, heavy equipment, commercial manufacturing company in manufacturing sites
- Experience of working in Quality Assurance
- Strong knowledge of quality systems
- Working knowledge of business systems
- Lean Manufacturing knowledge
- Knowledge of TS16949 and ISO9001
- Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment
- Planning and prioritizing activities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Physical Requirements:
Ability to drive frequently to and from all locations. Ability to perform minimal lifting requirements. Ability to engage with employees at multiple locations and conduct meetings in person or remotely. Ability to stand for medium periods of time to perform job requirements and to team individuals and groups of people.
