Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join our team in Viroqua, WI. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. If you have a passion for quality and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to, supporting productions’ quality needs through use of Romer and CMM inspection machines and various measuring tooling such as: Calipers, micrometer, height gauges and other inspection tools. The employee must possess a working knowledge of drawings and computer programs such as MS Office, PCdmis, Gage Trak, and PACE weld check needed to support the quality functional team.

Responsibilities

  • Component and assembled part dimensional inspection in accordance with the part drawing

  • Finished goods audit

  • Line Romer for quality concerns

  • Weld integrity testing, section, polish, and analyze

  • Support / Engage of deviations

  • Support Calibration system (inspection, test equipment, functional gages)

  • Strong Team environment

  • Complete capability studies on critical, major and minor characteristics

  • Program development in PPAP principles and practices

  • Document & record data collected on inspection forms legibly

  • Keep work area safe and clean (5S – Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)

  • Promote quality workmanship that meets and/or exceeds customer expectations

  • Assist with Housekeeping in NCM area

  • Support Operations with NCMR process, inspect parts

  • Assist NCM area with material handling, inventory, non-standard jobs etc.

  • Perform other duties as directed by Manager

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience
  • Gauge knowledge and CMM Operating is needed
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using quality inspection tools and software.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
