POSITION SUMMARY:
Provider of resourceful, organized, efficient quality assurance services to CMC’s Quality Department. A key contributor to QA functions (Quality Engineering, Document Control). A key support resource to CMC’s QC activities (Inspection).
Essential Responsibilities:
- Setup technical data package templates using quality departmental software per CMC customer contract requirements;
- Setup inspection templates derived from technical data package templates mentioned above;
- Data entry of production part approval process (PPAP) requirements, including capability studies, GRR studies, FMEA, Control Plan, Flow charts, etc. as per CMC customer contract requirements;
- Assemble quality/technical data packages (QDP, FAIR, AS9102, FAI, QP, QualPack, etc.) ahead of customer submission;
- Conduct peer reviews of quality/technical data packages as assigned;
- Compile statistical quality data for Quality Engineer/Leadership evaluation;
- Manage external, third-party internal audit scheduling, agendas, and final report filing, as well as system CAPA entry, CAPA status reporting, and follow-up;
- Calibration system data entry (e.g., check-in activities) following receipt of 3rd party laboratory results;
- Document control data entry (e.g., Powerway posting, change notice route for approval, customer DWG CNR template setup and scheduling);
- Network file/record structure organization (I drive – Inspection records, Q drive – Quality records, Certs Repository);
- Assist/Support internal departments (Sales, Fabrication, Machining, Assembly, Programming, Purchasing) with quality assurance-related needs (e.g., CICA/CSI, RMA, NCMR);
- Other quality assurance activities as directed.

Additional Skills & Responsibilities:
- Familiarity with Discus Desktop, or equivalent software preferred;
- Strong functional knowledge of Acrobat Adobe preferred;
- Understanding of quality assurance software, e.g., Minitab, QC Gage, or equivalent, a plus;
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Products (e.g., Access, Word, Excel including conditional formatting routines, drop-down selection setup, and formulas, etc.) a plus;
- Reconciliation, archiving/filing, and scanning of quality assurance documents and records.
Required Experience/Credentials:
- 2–4-year degree preferred, equivalent experience will be considered
- Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus;
- Experience in reviewing and organizing extensive volumes of information, data, records, etc.;
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills;
- Effective oral and written communication skills;
- Strong willingness to learn and utilize the wide range of quality assurance tools;
- Ability to achieve and maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing shop environment (including hot, cold, and/or noisy areas);
- Frequent hand-to-finger, handle, feel objects & tools, walking, sitting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking, and hearing;
- Physically submit to periodic drug tests (employment is contingent upon favorable results)
