Requirements

- This position requires good organizational skills and the ability to develop and maintain good internal customer relationships.
- Provides information to manufacturing personnel regarding product quality and conformance to specifications
- Responsible for the timely support of the production area through problem resolution.
Performs inspection activity such as:
- Receiving, 1st pc., in-process, final, dock audits, containment/sorting…
- Responsible for documenting and investigating Non-Conforming Material
- Responsible for processing Warranty Returns
- Assists in the investigation and documentation for Corrective Actions/Continuous Improvement activities
- Measures sample parts and perform dimensional layouts, including capability studies, for PPAP’s
- Performs calibrations, R&R studies, and other QA lab functions
- Assists in the development of QA Documents (e.g., Control Plans, Inspection plans)
- Aids Document Control by ensuring availability of current document revisions
- Maintains a clean and orderly work area using the 5S process and follows all safety policies and procedures
- May be required to perform other reasonable work-related tasks
Education and/or Experience
- Associates degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Quality Control/Assurance.
- CQT certification is a plus.
- Attentive to detail, accurate, with strong technical skills.
- Proficient in English, both verbal and written communications.
- Additional language fluency is a plus.
- Able to read and interpret prints and technical documents.
- Ability to efficiently prioritize tasks and meet deadlines is required.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills required, both written and verbal.
Computer Skills
- Good skills with Microsoft Word, Excel preferred.
Other Skills and Abilities
- Familiarity with the heavy-duty trucking industry concepts, practices, and procedures is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with clients, co-workers, vendors, and business partners.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independent of supervision and make a wide variety of complex decisions.
- Candidate must be a fast learner with a high attention to detail.
- May be required to work different shifts, hours, overtime, and weekends if needed
