Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a Quality & Engineering Inspector to join our team! As an Inspector, you conduct testing on incoming material, calibrations for equipment, and data entry.

As a company committed to professional development, we prioritize individuals who are eager to enhance their skills and knowledge. We offer training opportunities for two distinct paths of growth:

Quality Inspection Track: We are willing to provide training for individuals to obtain certifications from ASQ as a Quality Inspector, Calibration Technician, and certified Quality Technician. Candidates interested in pursuing a career in quality assurance will have the opportunity to develop expertise in these areas.

After 90 days of employment, candidates will be allowed to pick a track and begin formal courses and projects as approved.

Specific Responsibilities and Duties

Perform daily inspection activities following established criteria and procedures utilizing a variety of equipment. This includes inspecting products received from external sources.

Work closely with the Engineering and Production teams to address and resolve quality issues during the production process.

Maintain accurate documentation related to quality inspections, as well as records of quality issues and their resolutions.

Adhere to all policies and procedures of Aztech Locknut Company.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in quality assurance or related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in quality assurance or a similar role.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with quality control methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
  • Ability to lift/move 50lbs
