Job Overview:

Applied Composites (AC) is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist who will assist with Quality Management System maintenance/updates and identify routine quality issues and resolve problems to meet quality requirements. Candidate will also provide recurrent training to staff and act as the safety steward for the company.

Job Accountabilities:

  • Works as part of the QA team, applies basic level process knowledge, practices and procedures to standard routine tasks.
  • Performs daily inventory of MRB area and ensures product is dispositioned in a timely manner.
  • Supports and participates in internal and regulatory audits and corrective action follow-ups, as required.
  • Monitor and evaluate manufacturing process trends and work with other departments to resolve quality related issues.
  • Implements and maintains technical quality assurance procedures and documentation.
  • Conduct training of other employees on required recurrent topics.
  • Responsible for compliance with the Safety Manual, policies, and procedures.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Job Specifications:
 
Education:  
A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations
Years’ Experience:  0-2 years of relevant experience
Skills:

  • Ability to follow detailed job instructions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to apply a systematic Quality Assurance approach while using existing procedures to solve standard problems.
  • Capable of identifying and independently resolving routine issues.
  • Strong interpersonal skills requiring the ability to resolve conflicting interests and obtain cooperation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills - Ability to use MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Preferred knowledge and understanding of AS9100, Nadcap AC7118, and internal auditing
