EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or equivalent; or eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master's degree a plus.
• Experience with ISO 9001:2015 quality systems
• Demonstrated experience in interfacing with customers
• Proven experience in problem resolution and developing corrective action plans
• 5+ years’ experience as a quality manager or similar responsibility
• Preferred qualifications include 10+ years in the energy wire and cable industry including manufacturing plant experience
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS:
• Six Sigma Black Belt preferred
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification preferred
• Other relevant certifications considered include ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Quality Auditor, or Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence
ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
Management of quality personnel, policies, processes, and initiatives that continuously improve the state of quality for LS Cable & System USA.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage day to day quality department operations.
• Manage overall company compliance and registration processes for ISO 9001 quality systems.
• Overall responsibility for the Customer Claim and Corrective Action System, including assurance that customer complaints are communicated properly, responded to in a timely manner and the corrective action provided addresses the root cause with a solution that is appropriate.
• Interface with customers as issues arise and be the single point of communication for addressing customer complaints and assuring customer satisfaction.
• Communicate with the customer to gain an understanding of their expectations, communicating this throughout the Company, and develop plans to continuously improve the level of customer satisfaction.
• Oversee and approve all quality systems, procedures, and test plans.
• Maintain the Master File of quality related information across all Energy locations and manage all customer surveys and audits.
• Compile and publish periodic analysis of technical complaints for management review and conduct periodic review meeting with relevant managers.
• Coordinate company responses to customer requests for information including performance data, evidence of quality system compliance, corrective actions, claims, and other relevant information.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of relevant industry standards for LS Cable & System USA products
